Get ready to turn heads by sporting the latest of 2015's hair trends!

Kick off the new year right by transforming your old 2014 hairstyle into a fresh new updated look! To help in your search for a 'new you' and some inspiration to get you started, here are some of the top trending looks in hair color and hairstyles for 2015.

Hair Color in 2015: Keep your Cool and Look Natural!

ICY PLATINUM BLONDE, COOL COPPER WITH VIOLET & STEELY BRUNETTES
This season's 'cooling' trend focuses on playing up the cool-ashy tones (violet/silver/blue/green) with your color and steering away from the warmer hair color shades containing yellow, gold, orange or red undertones in them.

WINTER HIGHLIGHTS
This winter, many women have decided against the typical trend of going darker and have opted instead to keep their summer highlights or have gone lighter. To create that dirty dishwater blonde that is in high demand for 2015, use an ash blonde shade in your hair for best results.

BALAYAGE & OMBRE
Similar to last year, we will continue to see the easy maintainable subtle balayage highlights and seamless ombre color for a blended and natural looking, multi-dimensional hair color effect.

Hair Styles for 2015: Old-School Style Revival-Modernized and Stylized!

BRAIDS & LOW PONYTAILS
Easy and quick styles like loose, messy braids and sleek low pony tails with long tails are a popular choice for longer hair lengths this year.

ROCK 'N' ROLL SHAG
Rock 'n' roll shags with a wispy, feathered fringe are trending for long to mid-length hair in 2015. The style is meant to appear unkempt and undone with tousled layers and finished with an air-dry, natural texture look. There is heavy graduation or layering throughout the hair with this cut and little to none face-framing layers.

THE MULLET
This updated mullet style calls for the length in the front to remain longer, compared to the traditional mullet style of the past. The hair is tapered from the front to the back, creating a much smoother transition and a softer look. This style has also been paired with another new trend, micro bangs. These super short bangs known as micro bangs or baby bangs give this look even more of an edge to an already bold and wild style.

BLUNT-CUT BOB
The blunt-cut bob is making a big statement in 2015. This cut is mainly only one-length to create heaviness or volume at the bottom of your hair. Very little layering is needed, only the ends are slightly layered or 'texturized' giving a shattered appearance to update this look and style.

THE BOWL CUT
2015 brings us the comeback of the bowl cut. Although, this is not the same bowl cut that we all remember or maybe tried to forget. This style has been revamped by adding texture and movement to the hair, creating a 'piece-y' and playful look, much needed to this almost helmet-looking style.
